Hi Ms. Tan,

Happy holidays. I just wanted to give you an update on our team’s progress. We recently won our last meet in Jacksonville, FL, achieving a 5-0 win record and continue to compete towards the State Championship. This wouldn’t have been possible without your support and we are all very grateful for your sponsorship.

This season’s game is called Velocity Vortex. There is a 30-second autonomous portion in which teams have to program their robot to shoot two balls into the center goal, and sense their way to a colored beacon and push the correct button color. Next, there is a two-minute driver controlled period where robots have to collect and shoot balls into the center goal for five points each, claim the four beacons for 10 each, and in the last 30-seconds they can lift the large yoga ball for additional points.

Season’s challenge with its objectives and rules

Below is my team’s robot and our team video.

Thank you again for your support!
